It's All Happening So Fast

So here I am almost at the end of my school year. It has been intense and I'm now in the middle of exams. To say that I'm procrastinating by updating a blog I haven't had time for is truly and understatement!

Now that the end of school is near I have already started my own Esthetics & Holistic Therapies business and am contemplating buying an existing Reflexology practice in a foot clinic associated with a local hospital. These opportunities came without my really looking for them and seem to be falling into place. Now all I need to do is manifest about $6,000 to finalize everything. I'm sure it will work out just fine.

I really believe everything happens for a reason and we end up where we are meant to be. I do wish the Universe had waited until I finished exams to bring all this business to me, though, it's all I can think about and it's making crossing the finish line of school difficult.

However, I am grateful for the opportunities and am not one to turn down a good opportunity when it is presented to me. My whole life and career paths have gone that way. Opportunities to move ahead, learn something new and have new and exciting challenges present themselves and I go along with them. It's been a helluva journey ... and I don't regret a moment of it.

Middle age is a hard time to go back to school full-time, especially when you find yourself single and the dog won't get a job. I was fortunate to get government funding and my retired parents have been helping with some gas and groceries when they can. It's been tight financially and exhausting mentally, emotionally, and physically, but I'm happy to have had this opportunity.

I made this bold leap in life because just going to a J-O-B everyday was not for me. When my most recent contract came to an end a friend said to me "what do you really want to do?". I searched my heart and answered honestly. My true love was my part-time reflexology practice and I thought it was time to make sure I could make it my career. So, back to school I went to add to my skill sets.

Life is too short to not being doing what we love, and have a passion for, as our vocation. I'm happy to be on that path of following my passion!
